Created by Paramount Pictures in 1954, VistaVision turned 35mm film on its side to produce a stunning high-resolution widescreen picture. The Academy Museum celebrates the format with an 11-day series of ultra-rare prints, 70mm remasters, and new 6K digital scans in the David Geffen Theater.
