About the Exhibition
Stories of Cinema is presented in the Spielberg Family Gallery and located in the museum’s Sidney Poitier Grand Lobby. Free and open to the public, this 16-minute media installation travels from the very beginnings of film to the groundbreaking movies of today. Pulling from more than 700 films, the revelatory moments presented here are a prelude to the cinematic stories continued in the rest of the museum.
