Free general admission for visitors 17 and under is provided by an endowment honoring Sid Ganis.
Museum members receive $5 off general admission tickets for up to two guests per visit.
TAP card holders get a $2 discount off of full-price admission. Discount applicable in person only. Present your TAP card at the Winkler Welcome Center for your discount.

Gallery Closures

On Level 2, Significant Movies and Moviemakers: Lourdes Portillo; Significant Movies and Moviemakers: Boyz N the Hood; and Significant Movies and Moviemakers: Casablanca will close permanently on January 5 to make way for the exhibition Studio Ghibli’s PONYO, opening February 14.

For all film screenings that are free for Museum members, Individual-level members receive one complimentary ticket, and Dual-level members, and above, receive two complimentary tickets.
Additional Information
Purchasing film tickets in advance is highly recommended, but not required. There is no reserved or assigned seating at our screenings.
Film screenings, Fanny's, and the Academy Museum Store do not require a museum ticket for entry.
