Family Matinees

Every Saturday at 11am

Films for families of all ages! All movies in this series are rated G or PG, unless otherwise noted.
The final Family Matinee of every month is an accommodative screening* where we offer open captioning, keep the theater dimly lit, and maintain a lower volume for neurodivergent viewers.
This November, we’re highlighting films that center the importance of family and explore the various ways we can define it.

In December, we’re carrying our annual 3D-cember! tradition into our Family Matinees series for a selection of family-friendly films presented in 3D. Adult and children’s 3D glasses will be available for all screenings. Our 3D-cember! limited series screens from December 24 to December 31.

For the first Family Matinees theme of 2024, we’re screening films added to the National Film Registry for their cultural, historical, or aesthetic significance, in conjunction with our limited series Works of Enduring Importance: 35 Years of the National Film Registry screening from December 14, 2023 to January 27, 2024.

In February, we remember American composer and conductor Henry Mancini in his centennial year with some of his most beloved film scores.

Programmed by K.J. Relth-Miller.
Notes by Sari Navarro and Robert Reneau.
* Accommodative screenings may not always fit the theme for the month's screenings.
