Willow 

George Lucas teamed up with director Ron Howard to create this lavish original fantasy adventure film. Willow (Warwick Davis, who made his film debut as Wicket the Ewok in Return of the Jedi) is a would-be sorcerer who tries to save an infant from the evil Queen Bavmorda (Jean Marsh of Upstairs, Downstairs) with the help of the mercenary Madmartigan (Val Kilmer). The film was nominated for its sound effects editing as well as its spectacular visual effects which featured a groundbreaking use of computer-generated imagery.
