The Parent Trap
Hayley Mills stars in a dual role in this family comedy classic, as identical twins separated by divorce who accidentally reconnect at summer camp and plot to reunite their parents (Maureen O’Hara and Brian Keith). This heartwarming farce was one of the top box office hits of its year, and decades later Mills reprised her roles for three TV movie sequels; Lindsay Lohan starred in a hit big screen remake in 1998. The film features original songs by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman (Mary Poppins), and received Oscar nominations for its film editing and sound.
