The NeverEnding Story

Accommodative Screening

Wolfgang Petersen’s interpretation of Michael Ende’s novel of the same name was his English-language film debut. The story of a boy immersed in a magical fantasy book that follows a child warrior tasked with saving the land of Fantasia from The Nothing—a representation of the human world’s loss of hopes and dreams. But little does he know his own importance in saving Fantasia from destruction. The film is a timeless enchanting tale that denotes the power of imagination and magic and persists in the psyche of audiences who grew up with it.
