The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

Tolkien’s classic fantasy series. With its top-notch cast and skilled mixture of scenic New Zealand locations with state-of-the-art visual effects (including Andy Serkis’s groundbreaking motion-capture performance as Gollum), The Lord of the Rings trilogy is a landmark in fantasy cinema. The Return of the King is the third film in Academy history to top the record for most Oscars, winning in 11 categories including Best Picture.
