The Incredibles
A family of retired superheroes struggle to cope with “normal” life while facing a new superpowered foe in this stylish and thrilling computer-animated adventure. Writer-director Brad Bird gives the film an elegant visual style and voices the unforgettable costume designer Edna Mode, while Michael Giacchino’s tuneful score pays homage to such film music masters as Henry Mancini and John Barry. The film won Oscars for Animated Feature Film and Sound Editing and was also nominated for Sound Mixing and Bird’s original screenplay.
