The Adventures of Tintin in 3D
The Adventures of Tintin in 3D
The only animated film directed by Steven Spielberg is a thrilling, light-hearted adventure film in the classic Spielberg tradition, based on the comic books by Belgian cartoonist Hergé. Spielberg assembled a topflight cast of actors for the voice and motion capture performances, with Jamie Bell as Tintin, Andy Serkis as the hard-drinking Captain Haddock, Daniel Craig as the villainous Sakharine, and Nick Frost and Simon Pegg as the bumbling Thomson and Thompson. John Williams was nominated for his lively adventure score, an engaging cousin to his popular Indiana Jones music, and his only score for an all-animated feature.
