Send Me No Flowers

Send Me No Flowers

Doris Day and Rock Hudson’s final film together has the duo as a married suburban couple. George Kimball (Hudson) is a hypochondriac who finds himself in a case of crossed wires when he mistakenly overhears his doctor telling another patient they have weeks to live. Thinking the doc was giving him the diagnosis, George decides he must find a new husband for his wife, Judy (Day). This, naturally, doesn’t go smoothly. Presented here in a new DCP restoration premiere.

DIRECTOR: Norman Jewison. WRITTEN BY: Julius J. Epstein. CAST: Rock Hudson, Doris Day, Tony Randall, Clint Walker. 1964. 100 min. USA. Color. English. DCP.
