May6 PROJECT A Hung11-banner

In the 1980s, Sammo Hung co-starred in three films alongside his Peking Opera contemporaries Jackie Chan and Yuen Biao, with fans affectionately referring to them as the Three Dragons. Their first film focuses on naval officers and the police setting aside their rivalry to battle pirates and corrupt government officials in Hong Kong at the turn of the 20th century. Featuring Chan’s most infamous death-defying stunt (falling from a clocktower with only a few flimsy awnings to break his fall), numerous bone-breaking fights, and lots of laughs, this film exemplifies the Three Dragons’ signature blend of action and comedy.
