Oscars Tours: Through the Decades
Join museum educators Wednesdays through Sundays for 30-minute tours of the Academy Award History gallery and Oscars gallery.

Since 1929, the Oscars have recognized excellence in cinematic achievements.
To celebrate the 97th Academy Awards, explore Academy Award show history with a museum educator on 30-minute highlight tours Wednesdays–Sundays. The Academy Awards History galleries showcase the glamorous and sometimes complicated stories of the Academy Awards and feature a collection of significant Oscars, an illustrated timeline of awards history, and a presentation of iconic ceremony speeches and fashions.
Join museum educators for a special "After the Oscars" tour on Monday, March 3, at 3:30pm and 4:30pm.

Location: Sidney Poitier Grand Lobby | L1
Regular Schedule: Wednesdays–Sundays, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, and 4:30pm
Special "After the Oscars" Tour: Monday, March 3, at 3:30pm and 4:30pm. Please note: there is no 2:30pm tour.
Duration: 30 minutes
Cost: Free with General Admission. No additional ticket needed to join the tour.
Tours have limited space and are first-come, first-served. Please arrive at the Sidney Poitier Grand Lobby up to 10 minutes before the start of the tour to secure your spot.
Each tour will use tour devices to amplify the guide’s voice.

The museum is fully accessible by wheeled mobility device. Use the museum’s elevators to access all galleries and theaters. Visitor Experience Associates are also on hand to provide assistance.
American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation is available upon request with three weeks’ notice, subject to the availability of interpreters; please submit your request to academymuseum@oscars.org.
If this program occurs in the theaters, assistive audio devices, in-seat closed captioning, or real-time captioning may be available. Please inquire at academymuseum@oscars.org.
The museum offers a host of recurring accessible programs, including Calm Mornings, ASL Interpreted Tours, and Visual Description Tours.
Sensory kits are available at the Winkler Welcome Center and the Shirley Temple Education Studio for anyone with sensory needs. The kits include noise-reduction headphones, fidgets, and color therapy glasses to help visitors feel comfortable and safe at the museum.
