John Waters: Pope of Trash Book Signing

Join us for a special meet and greet and signing with John Waters at the Academy Museum.

Join us for a special meet and greet and book signing with the subversive auteur himself, John Waters. In celebration of the opening of the landmark exhibition and the first dedicated solely to the director's films, Waters will sign the highly anticipated catalogue that accompanies this exhibition, John Waters: Pope of Trash, on Sunday, September 17 from 4:30pm to 7pm in the Tea Room on Level 5. A ticket guarantees a copy of the catalogue and access to the signing, as well as general admission to the museum.

John Waters is a filmmaker and visual artist. He has directed sixteen movies including Pink Flamingos (1972) and Hairspray (1988), which were added to the U.S. Library of Congress’s National Film Registry.
