HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON

Cressida Crowell’s popular series of children’s books inspired this critically acclaimed animated fantasy, which itself spawned two Oscar-nominated sequels. Hiccup (voiced by Jay Baruchel) is an awkward teenager living on the Viking island of Berk, whose unexpected friendship with an injured young dragon changes the fate of his entire community. The film earned Oscar nominations for Animated Feature and for John Powell’s stirring, Celtic-inspired original score, and Oscar-winning cinematographer Roger Deakins (Blade Runner 2049) served as Visual Consultant, helping to craft the film’s gorgeous 3D imagery.
