Hook was one of my favorite movies growing up. It introduced me to Robin Williams, who immediately became one of my favorite actors. I loved imagining myself flying in the air alongside him in Neverland.”

Steven Spielberg directed this lavish sequel to J. M. Barrie’s classic Peter Pan , in which a grown-up Peter (Robin Williams), who has forgotten all about his magical youth, has to leave the safety of suburban life and return to Neverland to rescue his children from the vengeful Captain Hook (Dustin Hoffman). Hook
earned Oscar nominations for Art Direction, Costume Design, Makeup, Visual Effects, and the original song “When You’re Alone,” and has since become a cult classic.
