The museum’s Composer gallery, part of the upcoming exhibition Stories of Cinema, hosts site-specific installations by film composers, offering a new way to experience their practices, themes, and sounds. For this virtual program, Oscar®-winning composer, cellist, and vocalist Hildur Guðnadóttir (Joker) will discuss her creative process with Academy Museum curator Jenny He. Together, they’ll offer a behind-the-scenes look at the first project to be presented in the Composer’s gallery, one that will immerse visitors in aural landscapes reminiscent of Guðnadóttir’s film compositions. Visitors will be able to experience this with truly immersive audio in Dolby Atmos.

Dolby is the exclusive audio sponsor of this gallery.
