Drop-In Workshops for Families: Stop-Motion

Drop-In Workshops for Families: Stop-Motion

Join us in the Shirley Temple Education Studio to make your own stop-motion animation!

The Education team invites families to join museum educators every month to be inspired by the museum’s exhibitions and screenings to create, learn, and have fun!

Families can create their own stop-motion animation using paper cutouts! Following the theme of friendship in this month’s family matinee series films, families can tell their own stories of friendship through the art of stop-motion animation. Check out the Inventing Worlds and Characters: Animation gallery in the Stories of Cinema exhibition on Level 3 to further explore stop-motion and other forms of animation!

Join us anytime from 12:30pm to 2:30pm in the Shirley Temple Education Studio on the museum’s Lower Level.

Workshop Dates:
Saturdays: January 6, 13, and 20

Check back soon for upcoming workshop themes!

If you have any questions, or need assistance planning your visit, please email museumeducation@oscars.org.
