Drop-In Workshops for Families: Earth Day

Drop-In Workshops for Families: Earth Day

Join us for an Earth Day–inspired workshop

The Education team invites families to join museum educators every month to be inspired by the museum’s exhibitions and screenings to learn, create, and have fun!

Our April Drop-In Workshops for Families are inspired by Earth Day and the themes of the films from this month’s Family Matinee screenings like Fern Gully: The Last Rainforest (1992), Microcosmos (1996), The Wild Thornberrys Movie (2002), and WALL-E (2008). Join us in celebrating Earth Day and reflect on the importance of finding ways to take care of our planet. Families can participate in upcycling a variety of discarded materials to create a character inspired by these films!

Join us anytime from 12:30pm to 2:30pm in the Shirley Temple Education Studio on the museum’s Lower Level.

Workshop Dates:
Saturdays: April 1, 8, and 15
