Drop-In Workshop for Teens: Special Effects Makeup

Drop-In Workshop for Teens: Special Effects Makeup

Meet makeup artist Robin Beauchesne who will give a makeup demonstration and participate in a Q&A.

The Education team invites teens to join museum educators on the third Friday of every month to be inspired by the museum’s exhibitions and screenings, explore the museum, hang out, and get creative.

For our January workshop, we will be joined by makeup artist Robin Beauchesne. Beauchesne has worked in both television and film as a makeup artist with various credits including Captain America: Civil War (2016), Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014), and The Hunger Games (2012). Beauchesne will give a makeup demonstration and will speak about her career as a makeup artist in the film industry.

Meet us on Friday, January 20 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm in the Shirley Temple Education Studio on the museum’s Lower Level. Workshops are designed for teens ages 14 and up. Snacks will be provided.

All workshops are free with museum admission and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Museum admission is free for youth ages 17 and under with advance reservation.

Check back soon for upcoming workshop themes.
