Drop-In Workshop for Families: On the Road Location and Set Design Maps

Drop-In Workshop for Families: On the Road Location and Set Design Maps

Join us for an On the Road Location and Set Design Workshop.

The Education team invites families to join museum educators every month to be inspired by the museum’s exhibitions and screenings to learn, create, and have fun!

Our September Drop-In Workshops for Families are inspired by the month’s films in our Family Matinees series: A Goofy Movie (1995), The Muppet Movie (1979), and Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure (1985). Each of these films take us on adventurous road trips across the country! Location and set design play an important role in these movies. This month’s workshops are about designing your own map of different locations you would like your movie to take place!

Join us anytime from 12:30pm to 2:30pm in the Shirley Temple Education Studio on the museum’s Lower Level.

Workshop Dates:
Saturdays, September 2, 9, and 16

Check back soon for upcoming workshop themes!

If you have any questions, or need assistance planning your visit, please email museumeducation@oscars.org.
