Join the Academy Museum for a conversation with six Black visual effects (VFX) artists whom discuss their creative processes, victories, and challenges.

Celebrating the accomplishments and perseverance of visual effects professionals, this candid discussion will delve into the shared experiences of six Black film artists in the VFX industry. Featuring Lyndon Barrois, Andrew Roberts, Audrea Topps Harjo, Lauren F. Ellis, Corey Turner, and Greg Anderson, this deep dive into their creative work will not only shed light on their successes but will also examine some of the obstacles they encountered along the way. The conversation will culminate in sessions led by some of the panelists, who offer unprecedented access into their work and process.
