Big Top Pee-wee

Writer-star Paul Reubens followed his smash Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure with this lively comedy, in which Pee-wee falls in with a traveling circus and is torn between his schoolteacher fiancée Winnie (Penelope Ann Miller) and the beautiful trapeze artist Gina Piccolapupula (Valeria Golino). Directed by Randal Kleiser (Grease), the cast also includes Kris Kristofferson as the circus owner Mace Montana as well as Oscar-winner Benicio del Toro in his big screen debut as Duke the Dog-Faced Boy.
