Kind of a Drag: Experimental Films, Documentaries, and Scratch Animation by Heather McAdams, 1980-1995

Often scratched, painted, manipulated, or otherwise defaced by Adams, the new images reference pop culture with a distinctly feminist lens, their frames upsetting gender norms and outmoded concepts of American home life.
